RESERVATION, CANCELLATION POLICY AND HOUSE REGULATIONS​

To ensure a pleasant stay, The Good House applies the following Terms and Conditions, which represent the contract between guests and the property, under which guests may use the rooms and adjacent spaces. By making a reservation or staying at The Good House, you expressly agree to these terms.

RESERVATIONS

Reservations are confirmed upon full payment of accommodation services by bank transfer, within a maximum of 5 days from receiving the proforma invoice sent via email or WhatsApp.

A reservation is guaranteed only after payment confirmation.

Minimum stay: 2 nights.

RATES

The rates displayed in the offer refer exclusively to accommodation and include breakfast.

Additional services are charged separately.

Any modification to a reservation may result in a rate adjustment.

Rates may change at any time; however, confirmed reservations will not be affected, except in cases of tax changes (e.g., VAT).

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Extra bed linen: 40 RON
Electric car charging: charged according to consumption

Barbecue usage fee (includes charcoal, firewood, tableware, and cleaning):
25 RON/person, minimum 100 RON

Day visitors are welcome for a maximum of 2 hours, subject to a 30 RON fee (includes water, coffee, tea, and basic consumables).

CANCELLATION POLICY

Free cancellation is possible up to 7 days before arrival.

Cancellation between 6 and 4 days before arrival incurs a penalty equal to the first night's stay. The amount may be converted into a voucher valid for 6 months.

Cancellation less than 3 days before arrival or no-show results in full retention of the reservation cost.

In case of early departure, no partial refunds will be granted.

GROUP BOOKINGS (4 to 8 rooms)

Free cancellation is possible up to 4 weeks before arrival.

Cancellations made between 4 and 3 weeks before arrival allow the payment to be converted into a voucher valid for 6 months. The voucher may be used for a single future reservation.

Cancellations made less than 2 weeks before arrival are non-refundable.

The property reserves the right to cancel reservations for justified reasons, with full refund of the amounts paid.

In case of force majeure (epidemics, earthquakes, floods, war, etc.), the advance payment is non-refundable but will be converted into a voucher valid for 12 months, subject to availability.

CHILD POLICY

Children aged 0–3 years (infants) stay free of charge when sharing their parents’ bed.

Duplex units: child aged 4–10 years – 40 RON/night.
Studios: child aged 4–10 years – free of charge.
Apartments: up to 2 children aged 4–10 years – free of charge.

Please have children’s identification documents available as proof of age.

PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

Due to the absence of an elevator, The Good House is currently unable to provide adequate conditions for guests with mobility impairments.

The only ground-floor room is Studio 6. For further details, please contact us in advance.

PAYMENT

Payment is accepted exclusively by bank transfer, based on the payment order issued at the time of booking.

Cash or holiday vouchers are not accepted.

RECEPTION & CHECK-IN INFORMATION

The Good House does not have a permanent reception and does not provide overnight assistance, except for very serious emergencies, at +40 744 354 433.

 

Guests are required to complete the online check-in form before arrival. The form is sent via Booking.com or WhatsApp/email, depending on the booking channel.

CHECK-IN

14:00 – 19:00.

After 19:00, self check-in is available, but guests must request the necessary details in advance, no later than 19:00.

Without prior notification and confirmation of access details, the property cannot guarantee entry and assumes no responsibility for any inconvenience caused.

CHECK-OUT

Until 11:00.

If there is no subsequent reservation, we offer complimentary late check-out until 15:00.

PARKING

Parking is available on the property, subject to availability, without reservation.

Parking is at the guest’s own risk. The property is not responsible for theft or damage.

LUGGAGE STORAGE

Luggage may be stored for a maximum of 1 day, at the guest’s own risk, subject to available space.

PET POLICY

Pets are not allowed, except for service animals.

Failure to comply with this rule may result in cancellation of the reservation and penalties equivalent to the full value of the booked services.

GUEST RESPONSIBILITY & HOUSE RULES

Guests must behave in a civilized manner and avoid disturbing noise.

Street shoes are not allowed in rooms or common areas, including on beds and sofas.

Guests are responsible for their own accidents, their children’s accidents, and any damages caused.

Children must be supervised at all times.

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Removing objects from rooms

  • Excessive alcohol consumption or drug use

  • Using personal audio systems at high volume

  • Using the barbecue, campfire area, or fireplace without prior approval and instruction

  • Accessing the kitchen for food preparation

  • Playing ball games in the courtyard

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to other guests, staff, buildings, or equipment.

The property reserves the right to select its clients.

LOST & FOUND

If the staff finds a personal item lost or forgotten by a guest, it will be kept for a maximum of one month from the departure date. After this period, the item will be handled at the property’s discretion.

COMPLAINTS

Complaints regarding services must be addressed during the stay, on-site.

Post-stay complaints will not be considered.

Any damages must be reported to a property representative within 24 hours of discovery.

FINAL PROVISIONS

Payment for services implies full acceptance of the reservation policy, cancellation policy, and house rules.

These policies may be modified without prior notice.
